Boxed In has finally arrived on the Meta Quest. However, since another title is already using that name, it has a fresh new identity – say hello to Boxed Out!
Boxed Out is a fast-paced, colour-matching puzzle game that literally puts you inside the playarea. You are trapped in a room filled with ever-multiplying boxes. Armed with the BlockOTron™ 3000, you can change the colour of blocks, create new ones, or push existing ones. Matching colours causes blocks to explode – but as the pace ramps up, survival becomes a frantic challenge.
There are four vibrant themes to choose from: Original, Pastel, Code and Soft Play. Each theme can be played in Survival or Solitaire mode, with dynamic soundtracks spanning EDM, Rock’n’Roll, Blues, Bossa Nova, and Saturday Morning Cartoons.
If you ever manage to find a way out of the room, it’s possible to visit a tropical island where you can pick up a jetpack and race through rings, Pilotwings style!
