This Privacy Policy explains how Red Chain Games Ltd. (“Red Chain Games”, “we”, “us” or “our”) handles user data when you use Boxed Out (“the App”) on the Meta Quest platform.
Red Chain Games Ltd. is the entity responsible for the processing of Meta Horizon user data by the App.
2. Meta Horizon User Data
The App accesses certain user data made available by Meta Horizon in order to provide gameplay and Meta platform functionality.
Depending on the features being used, this may include:

- Meta Horizon User ID;
- user profile information, such as username and profile information;
- user age group; and
- friends information.
The App accesses and processes this information only where necessary to provide features such as Meta Leaderboards, Meta Achievements, and associated gameplay and platform functionality.
3. How We Use This Data
Meta Horizon user data accessed by the App is used solely to provide the relevant gameplay and Meta platform features.
For example, user information may be accessed and displayed within the App when using leaderboard, achievement or social functionality.
Red Chain Games does not use Meta Horizon user data for advertising, marketing, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to providing the App and its gameplay functionality.
4. Data Storage and Retention
Red Chain Games does not independently store or retain the Meta Horizon user data described above on its own servers or external systems.
The App accesses and processes this data as necessary to provide the relevant Meta Horizon and gameplay functionality. Red Chain Games does not maintain a separate database containing this Meta Horizon user data.
Information associated with Meta’s own platform services, such as leaderboards and achievements, may be stored and processed by Meta in accordance with Meta’s own policies.
5. Sharing and Third-Party Services
Red Chain Games does not sell Meta Horizon user data.
Red Chain Games does not share the Meta Horizon user data described in this Privacy Policy with third-party service providers for advertising, marketing or analytics.
The App communicates with Meta Horizon platform services where necessary to provide features such as leaderboards, achievements and social functionality.
6. Age Group and Children’s Privacy
The App may access the age-group information made available by Meta Horizon where required for platform functionality and to provide an appropriate experience.
Red Chain Games does not independently collect a user’s date of birth through the App.
Age-group information received from Meta Horizon is processed only as necessary to provide the App and its supported Meta Horizon functionality and is not independently retained by Red Chain Games.
7. Data Deletion and Privacy Requests
Red Chain Games does not independently retain the Meta Horizon user data described in this Privacy Policy on its own servers or external systems. Consequently, Red Chain Games will ordinarily have no separately stored copy of this data to delete.
Users may nevertheless contact Red Chain Games to request deletion of any personal data associated with Boxed Out that is held by Red Chain Games, or to ask questions about the processing of their data.
Requests can be made using the contact details provided below. We will respond to valid requests in accordance with applicable data protection law.
Data held by Meta as part of a user’s Meta account or Meta Horizon platform services is controlled separately by Meta and may need to be managed or deleted through Meta’s own account and privacy controls.

Red Chain Games takes reasonable measures to protect user data processed by the App against unauthorised access, use, alteration or disclosure.
The App only accesses Meta Horizon user data necessary for the functionality it provides.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, including to reflect changes to the App, Meta Horizon platform functionality, or applicable legal and policy requirements.
Any changes will be reflected by updating the Effective Date above.
